Blackout at the Aurora

The lights have gone out across the city, and in the dark the Aurora Hotel's star singer has lost her sapphire necklace. The night porter lies dazed in the lift, and everyone says a sneak thief must have slipped in from the street. Someone inside wants you to believe that. Find the thief and prove it.

Needs Games in Chat added once: how to add it.

The setup

London, 1952. During a city-wide blackout, Veronica Lane, the star singer of the Aurora Hotel's supper club, left the stage between sets and later found her sapphire necklace gone from her dressing room. Minutes afterward, the night porter Albert Pike was found knocked out in the stalled lift. The manager insists a thief came in off the street. You are a guest with a sharp eye, and you have been asked to look into it before the police arrive at dawn. Four people were in the hotel: the bandleader Julian Frost, Veronica's dresser Edna Quill, the manager Mr. Reginald Cobb, and a travelling salesman, Stanley Keane.

Your goal: Find out who stole the sapphire necklace and accuse them with evidence that proves it (at least two key clues). Two wrong accusations and the thief slips away with the dawn.
