The Hollow Creek County Fair, late afternoon. The pie that won this year's blue ribbon, baked by Dolly Marsh, was set on the judging table under a glass dome. When the head judge turned back from the lemonade stand, the dome was down and the pie was gone. The gates stay shut until it's found, and you, a visitor in line for funnel cake, have been asked to help. Three people were near the tent: the runner-up baker Winifred Pratt, the fair's announcer Gus Tolliver, and the young pie-stand owner Ned Oakes.
Your goal: Work out who took the prize pie and accuse them with at least two key clues. Two wrong accusations and the pie-napper slips out through the gate.

Loud-voiced, sweating in a straw hat, clutching a clipboard.
Young, eager, with orange stains on his sleeves and a nervous smile.
